Even after one year, no
competitor for us.
1. There are around 200 call
taxi companies in Chennai. Ours is the only callauto
company.
2. The biggest call taxi
company is limiting their fleet to 1500 and finding it hard
to expand.
3. There are more than 60,000
autos in Chennai city. Each auto earns around Rs 700. It is
around Rs 4,20,00,000 everyday.
4. Even if we reach 10,000
auto at the end of the year vast untapped potential is
there.
5. Call taxi is not a
competitor for us. For the first 5 KM they charge Rs 100 and
for ever additional KM they charge Rs 10. Their minimum fare
is Rs 150.

auto people, trade union leaders, medias approach, stand... |

rules, permit procedures, user timings, dense auto user
areas, potential customers, effective exposure media,
opinion from consumer association, requirements of call
centre executives, the required training, penetration of
bulk sms, bulk E-mail, the relevant software,
etc..
7. Note that 'JUST DIAL' is
the leader in talking yellow pages. Since there is no
competitor for callauto , even though we didn't register
with 'JUST DIAL', they give callauto phone number, to be
relevant in their trade.
8. Our company is GATES INDIA
and our web is
www.chennaicallauto.com. But we make advts. with
CALLAUTO as the prominent word. Of course Chennai people
first time heard the word callauto and happy to know that
autos at doorstep available through a company.

9. We never tell the customer
that we are giving a cheaper auto service. Our advantage is
'DOORSTEP SERVICE' and 'NO BARGAIN'. For shorter distance up
to 5 KM it is costlier, but beyond that distance it is very
reasonable.
10. Of the metro cities Delhi,
Bombay, Calcutta, Bangalore and Chennai, only in Chennai few
autos switch on the fare meter, periodically medias shout
about it.
11. Go through blogs regarding
Chennai autos and find the worst behavior of Chennai auto
drivers and find appreciation for our call auto service. The
comments accumulated during a period of time and find that
there is no competitor for us.
12. There is heavy pressure on
us to introduce more autos, expand operating area and extend
operating time.
